hello from

Franklin street house

the story

Here’s the story of one of the cutest little homes tucked in one corner of Lancaster City. Chris found this house completely dejected and run down. But those are the homes that the Greater Purpose Team thrives on.

Late summer of 2017 they started the demo and floor planning of this home. A lot of dreams and hard work into this space. Some of the key ideas that made this home a winner:

one. A black and white bathroom (stunned)

two. A finished basement for curling up and watching holiday movies on cold evenings

three. Christmas Tree

four. Original fireplace

Before our Open House in December 2017, Chris and I helped to stage this house. We went for a small family, Christmasy feel. There’s holiday décor and cookies and vacation vibe all throughout the house. We loved the unique pops of color and using intentional art to complement the bones of this beautiful house.

After our holiday open house, we stuck this home on the market officially. However, only two days later this home sold. We felt surprise, but not really. This place really was a home, a home that people wanted to spend forever in.
