The Story

Originally built in 1780, this beautiful home in Ephrata, PA had a lot of charm however it lacked a big open room to congregate. This older cottage styled home had a lot of smaller rooms without much natural light. Also, there was an adjacent summer kitchen with a big fireplace. The goal was to create a large open room with lots of natural light and incorporate the historic fireplace. Historic home additions are what we love so this was a really fun challenge for us.
